Some New Stuff
Since we've moved into the new space, one of the things people are really amazed at is that I fit all this yarn in the old shop. I did, but the shelves were packed really tight. Really. Tight. (If you've never been here, my old shop was about 800 square feet, and my new shop is 1,200. To outsiders, my new shop might still seem small, but to me, it's huge.)
So, now I have some extra space to get some new yarns. Yay! So today, I just thought I'd share with you a few of the yarns I've added since the move:
This one is Luna Paints from Cascade. 100% cotton. Purty colors.
This one's brand new from Crystal Palace yarns: Mochi Plus. There are 8 colors in total, but I just have 5 so far. It's a worsted weight version of Mini Mochi, their very popular sock yarn. Self-striping, single ply, superwash wool with a bit of nylon. Emily is knitting me a pair of fingerless gloves out of it for my cold basement office.
Finally, Highland Tweed from Harrisville. Harrisville makes wonderfully wooly yarn. Tweedy wool. Mmmmmm.
