Hannah's Scarf

Sort of like a triangle, but really a V-shaped scarfy/shawly accessory.

Materials

Yarn:  1 or 2 skeins Alp Virgin or Alp Natural (one skein for a scarf two skeins for more of a shawl)
Needles: 24 or 32” circular size US 11
Stitch Marakers

Instructions

Cast on 5 sts.

Row 1: k2, pm, k1, pm, k2.
Row 2: kfb, kfb, sm, k1, sm, kfb, kfb.
Row 3. kfb, k to marker, sm, k1, sm, k to last st, kfb.

Row 4. kfb, k to 1 st before marker, kfb, sm, k1, sm, kfb, k to last st, kfb.
Row 5. kfb, purl to last stitch, kfb.
Row Repeat rows 4 - 5 three more times.

Row 6. kfb, k to 1 st before marker, kfb, sm, k1 sm, kfb, k to last st, kfb.
Row 7. kfb, k to marker, sm, p1, sm, k to last stitch, kfb.
Repeat rows 6-7 two more times.

Repeat from ** to ** until enough yarn to bind of remains; bind off loosely.

Definitions

k: knit
p: purl
pm: place marker
sm: slip marker
kfb: knit into the front and the back of the stitch (increase)
