Ambrosia Scarf

Materials

Yarn: 3 Skeins Ambrosia from Knit One Crochet Too (50g/137 yards each) or other sport weight yarn, approximately 400 yards.
Hook size: F

Scarf Instructions

Chain 38.

Set up row: 1 dc into 6th ch from hook, *skip 2 ch, 5 dc into next ch, skip 2 ch, 1 dc into next ch, ch 1, skip 1 ch, 1 dc into next ch. Repeat from * until end.

Row 1: Ch 4 (counts as 1 dc plus 1 ch), skip ch sp, 1 dc into dc, *skip 2 dc, 5 dc into next dc (the 3rd dc of the shell), skip 2 dc, 1 dc into dc, ch 1, skip ch sp, 1 dc into dc. Repeat from * until end putting last dc into 3rd of 4 ch.

Repeat this row until scarf measures about 30”, or half of desired length then fasten off.

Attach yarn at foundation chain and work 2nd half of the scarf the same as the first half. Fasten off.

Flower Instructions (make 4)

Rnd 1: CH 2, 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Join with sl st to first sc.

Rnd 2: [ (ch 2, 3dc, ch 2, sl st) in the same sc, sl st to the next sc], 5 times, making 5 petals. Cut off.

Attach the four flowers to the four shells across the bottom of one end of the scarf.
Weave in ends & block.

How to block

Blocking will enhance the look, feel and drape of the scarf, so don’t skip this step. :)
Soak the scarf in cool water for approximately 20 minutes. Gently squeeze out excess water and wrap in a towel. Squeeze the towel to get out even more excess water. Lay scarf out on a flat surface and let it dry.
