Materials
Yarn: 2-4 skeins Batika (142 yards/50 grams), depending on width & length desired (see Things To Consider below) or other DK weight yarn, 284 – 568 yds
Needles: Size US 5 Needles
Gauge: 5 stitches per inch in Garter Stitch, although gauge is not important
Things To Consider: This scarf can be made as wide or as narrow as you like, however the length & width desired determines how much yarn is needed. For the sample, I cast on 30 stitches, and this makes it approximately 6” in width when measured at the garter stitch sections; at this width, every skein will add about 17” in length. Use this information when determining how many skeins to purchase.
