Materials

• 1 skein Marble Chunky or Lamb's Pride Chunky
• Needles: 16” Circular and Double Pointed Needles - US 10
• Darning Needle, Stitch Marker

Gauge: 3.5 sts = 1”

Sizes:  Women's (Men's)

Instructions

Cast on: 68 (72)  stitches loosely. Being careful not to twist stitches, join to knit in the round, place marker.

Knit all rounds until hat measures 8” from cast-on edge.

Crown: Work decreases for crown as follows. Transfer stitches to double point needles when it becomes too small for circular needle.

Round 1 *K2, K2tog* Repeat * * to end of round. 54 stitches remain.
Round 2 & 3 Knit

Round 4 *K1, K2tog* Repeat * * to end of round. 36 stitches remain.
Round 5 Knit

Round 6 *K2tog* Repeat * * to end of round. 18 stitches remain.
Round 7 *K2tog* Repeat * * to end of round. 9 stitches remain.

Finishing: Break yarn, leaving a 6” tail. Thread tail into a tapestry needle, and pull yarn through stitches, removing them from needles. Gently but firmly pull to close hole.

Weave in all ends on inside of cap.
