Materials

Yarn:  50 grams worsted weight cotton
Needles: US 7 or 8

Gauge: Not important

Instructions

Cast on 4 stitches

Row 1: Knit

Row 2: K2, yo, knit to the end of the row.

Repeat row 2 until piece measures about 11” across the needle, or you have about 45 stitches.

Row 3: K1, k2tog, yo, k2tog, knit to the end of the row.

Repeat row 3 until there are 5 stitches are left. Then, k2, k2tog, k1.

Bind off the last 4 sts.

k2tog:  knit two stitches together as one
