Mistake Rib Scarf

Materials

Yarn: 225 - 250 yards worsted weight yarn.  250 yards will make a long scarf, about 70" long.
Needles: Size US 11

Gauge: Not important

Instructions

Loosely cast on 19 stitches. For a wider scarf, you can add stitches in groups of 4, for example, 23 stitches.

Every row: *k2, p2*, repeat * * to end of row, p1

Repeat this row until scarf reaches desired length, loosely cast off all stitches.

Weave in ends; block scarf, slightly stretching out the rib pattern. The scarf will appear very scrunched and narrow until it’s blocked.
